Thoughts on fairy tales

I was reading a lot of kids novels - original unabridged versions.
BTW i dun read harry potter, so dun even try!!!
Alice in Wonderland reminded me of a LSD user on a trip. Seeing people in the real world as their fairy tale caricatures and imaginary kings and queens of imaginary kingdoms, with things that appear and disappear magically.
Stuff like Brer Rabbit really had me up in stitches coz the dude is just frikkin evil!!!
Graduating to comics, i really hated superman, coz he is the only superhero whos secret identity is a normal human being. He sounds more human to me than the others!!!
PS: This is coz most people wear a mask that makes them look normal.
Anyways, then i moved to "Illustrated Novels" ... a fancy word for comics with a deep story line, lots of gore and nudity. Just like crappy novels.
Still it was fun going on that trip and remembering the old times.

Its weird, but whem i read them now the perspective is so different that i feel like i was a different person back then. Then i remembered, I am a different person now. A lot more of an a$$hole and a lot more cynical.

Suddenly I miss me.
