The amazing part of the movie is how each side believes that they are right and they are the world's One Hope For Justice. Sounds like some countries I know. Both employ slaves, but its ok for one and not for the other. Asians are "hordes" of Barbarians, esp considering they had only 3000 years of civilization behind them, while the greeks had about 500.
Still the amazing cruelty and stupidity that is war is evident in the movie, since someone else causes it, someone else bears the brunt, and yet another group enjoy the fruits of that effort.

the movie is indeed erronous. What with the apparently peace loving persians fighting!!
Dunno abt guys but i heard girls are going ga-ga over the movie. But i hvnt seen it and dont intend to either :P
