Zen and the art of doing ... Nothing

It takes a true artist to appear extremely busy, while doing nothing at all.
The art of typing furiously against a keyboard, reading out numbers aloud, while all the time actually playin Minesweeper / Solitaire / 21 or chatting / scrapping / junk mailing on the screen.

I really like the chat messengers as they keep ppl in touch when its needed and it is really cheap as well (in more than one sense). Personally not the biggest fan of smses which seem to play the same role for mobile phones.

For every law there has to be an exception. I believe that there are converses as well.

For every 100,000 ppl appearing busy doin nothing, there is 1 person who appears to do nothing while getting everything done. I love that coz it gives a lot of time to do what really matters and cuts down the crap I need to tolerate.
But most ppl prefer if others "appear" busy rather than just get the job done and go home, especially Indians (my experience is limited).

Maybe this is because:
1. They have no social life
2. Their homes suck
3. There are no friends calling them and cursing them for working so late
4. Their bosses are asses who call at weird times and believe in donkeys being the best workers (note the irony)
etc etc

I dont really care.
When doing nothing, I want to look like im doing nothing. And do nothing. And do it really well too.
