Power to the People

I was at the mall today watching a movie in Bombay. Maharashtra is facing a power crisis and so is Bombay. And there a few suburbs have to face power cuts for 4 hours while the rest of the city enjoys electricity uninterrupted. Today atleast everyone had to feel for an hour what my lil area goes through every single day and im sure it wont change things a bit (coz ppl have weak memories)

The movie I was watching got cut out half way through (during the interval). Which in retrospect was good since the second half of the movie allegedly sucked.

It was amazing that the movie hall patrons returned our money !!! (Bless u R Adlabs - Mulund, I love you for your fairplay) Then we went out into the mall to see hordes of ppl resigned to their fate (remember mulund sees atleast 3 hours of powercuts daily for the last 4 months) just standing around like cattle. There was the "DO NOT WALK ON THE ESCALATOR THAT DOES NOT WORK" stage. I used the parking stairs, avoiding the crowd and irritation.

There was the sale that i missed at Spykar's )#*(&$(@ *#^% *^%*(# @^%(#@^_#@*&%_ )#*^% (@# %^@&%. There was this amazing planet M store with nearly no lights but ppl browsing thru it - Planet M - The music store of the universe - A very dark place in Mulund :)

Sad thing is even though a large number of people experienced what kids studyin for their exams, oldies findin it too hot, women cooking in overheated and unventilated kitchens in mulund feel daily, felt for just one day, They still will not share the load and hit the Middle class again.

After all, I dont pay taxes or pay my electricity bill, or mebbe am just fodder for load shedding. Load shed every part of the city uniformly else dont load shed. Those are the only 2 real choices. Everything else is crap
