Changing Change

The other day I saw a man who refused to change - It was pathetic.
He stood by what he believed and fought for it. Not realizing that what he fought for and how he fought were all outdated and not relevant anymore. He had forgotten to learn and unlearn.

The only thing that changes is life is everything ... constant
The only thing constant in life is change ... everytime

I change you change friends change parents change kids change siblings change loves change the world changes

Or so i thought ...
The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Same old shit. Same old prejudice. Same old stupidity. Same old incompetence. Same old ignorance. Same old arrogance.

And thats when it struck me ... I was looking at a mirror.
The mirror was life

The way I saw life was what I made of it or rather what I think of my life
